We are a big company with lots of opportunities. In our Retail Operations Team there are over 7,000 people working in our centres across the country in Credit Cards, Sales, Mortgages and Banking & Savings. Our Banking & Savings teams work in Belfast, Leeds, Chester, Dunfermline, Dundee, Motherwell and Rosyth. When customers call us about a query or to find out about a new product or service, these are the people who answer the phone.
In other companies, typically these people would be called Customer Service Advisors. We think this vastly underplays the nature of the role and the type of work we do. To us, these are Banking specialists. Essentially they are frontline professionals who just happen to be based in an office rather than in a branch.
We make sure they have all the training and support they need to do a great job, starting with a full induction, technical and skills training, and of course constant coaching. So whether you’ve done anything like this before; or you are completely new to this kind of role, then we can help you get up to speed as quickly as possible.
