The overall purpose of this role is to meet daily sales targets and objectives set by the Sales Office Manager.
Your duties and responsibilities will be as follows:-
Cold Calling for new business.
Maintain and expand existing customer database.
Achieve set objectives for call rates and time on phones.
Achieve set targets for own area.
Achieve objectives and follow up quotes, FSR's etc.
Process orders and returns.
Support external sales colleagues at exhibitions if required.
Attend sales training/meetings as required.
Attend and contribute to appropriate meetings.
Attending relevant training courses.
Maintain accurate computer records.
Support Manager and team members to cover periods of absence and holidays.
Maintain ISO-9000 quality procedures.
You must be educated to GCSE grade A-C standard in English, Maths or equivalent and have a good working knowledge of computer databases. Previous telephone sales expereience is desired as is the ability to conform to a structured disciplined office environment.
In return, our client is offering an excellent benefits package along with a basic salary of £16,000, OTE £25,000 (realistic) The hours of work are Mon-Fri 09.00-17.30.
