Excellent opening has become available for a Web Developer to join our clients Law Firm in Leeds.
Main Duties to consist of:
• Writing project specifications / plans / initial design layouts for project requests.
• To liaise with internal and external clients during the design and development cycle.
• Develop thorough testing procedures for applications as part of the project plan and ensure applications are tested correctly before release.
• To be responsible for the design, development and enhancement of web applications and corporate websites.
• Participates in product development, requirements, analysis, design and technical management.
• To create dynamic, interactive web sites.
• Help to integrate, showcase and maintain complementary technologies as they emerge.
• Ensure they promote and showcase the firm’s services via effective web development.
• To effectively manage the web development team on a daily basis.
• To ensure leadership and guidance is given to junior team members at all times.
• To manage day to day processes and take ownership of workloads and projects in the ITC Director’s absence.
• Working with Fee Earners and clients to develop the Firm’s ITC systems.
• Recruitment of ITC staff in relation to the business needs.
• Regular monitoring of the development of the Team. Ensuring the training needs are assessed and met.
• Provide MI information as requested.
• Benchmark, analyse, report on and make recommendations for the improvement of the ITC infrastructure.
• Develop and implement all ITC policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, and disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision.
• Experience of ASP and ASP.net
• Good working knowledge of SQL server.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
