Title: Part time Marketing Communications Specialist Salary: £30,000 pro-rata

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to join a leading organisation on a part time basis. Based in East Leeds, the Marketing Communications Specialist, will be responsible for effectively communicating between business-to-business markets, work with and alongside value adder resellers, plan and develop promotions and provide support at exhibitions and trade shows in both UK and Europe. The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record in marketing and communications and will be looking to work 3 days per week.

The Role:
In this part-time permanent position the Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing media links to achieve end user focused trade articles, preparing catalogues and product brochures for the Sales teams, including translations into major European languages. Duties will also include liaising relevant agencies, developing a European specification catalogue that complies with corporate guidelines, maintaining and updating the web site including initiating a thorough investigation into the future requirements and plans for the web page, and the creation of promotions in line with the Sales & Marketing plans. In addition to this the post holder will be reviewing and assessing a viable mechanism for effective PR, liaising with relevant authorities to enable them to prepare and create effective brand PR, assisting the Marketing Manager in the preparation and organisation of European exhibitions, adhering to specific, defined budgets, preparation, in conjunction with the Sales Directors, of the literature and promotion plans for the year, with detailed timing and costing for the August Planning Meeting attended by the Sales Directors, and working with, and assisting the marketing manager in his product management responsibilities. The post holder will also be required to travel as required to attend exhibitions.

Who we're looking for:
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in marketing and communications. The ideal candidate will have creative marketing, product management and excellent pr skills. You must have good presentation skills, excellent IT skills and the ability to demonstrate leadership. You must also have passion, drive, enthusiasm and the utmost willingness to participate in every aspect of the business as a team player.

Hours:
18.5 hours per week to be worked Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Tuesday and Thursday are a must but Wednesday can be flexible). Hours to be worked will be 9.00am - 3.30pm or 9.30am - 16.00pm however this is flexible.
