Buyer / Planner
£20000 to £25000
Due to expansion, an exciting new opportunity has risen with a very successful Wakefield based client within their Planning & Buying department
The role will involve the purchasing and sourcing of products through existing and new suppliers, ensuring pricing and contracts remain at a very competitive rate. Your skills will have been built up in a similar role when you can demonstrate the key skill factors associated with planning and buying, contract negotiation, working to deadline, computer literacy especially on spreadsheets, monitoring stock. Your professional telephone manner will allow you to confidently liaison with internal and external clients.
A background in a manufacturing, Automotive, steel, vales, gaskets, or similar industry would be preferred although not essential and full product training will be provided.
