My client is looking for an experienced Buyer/Planner preferably with Automotive Parts experience to join their existing team. The ideal candidate will be professional and enthusiastic, with the ability to demonstrate previous experience of forecast planning and the initiative to action such information into effective internal production plans of external purchases via both existing or new supply routes to maximise the availability of finished stock within set budgets.
Main duties of the role will include:
Daily monitoring of stock, weekly compilation of production plans using exported data from the IT systems, liaising with production and sales staff to ensure stock levels are maintained, weekly/daily supplier chasing, weekly compilation of lost sales statistics and any other duties as required.
