Leeds based Debt Purchase business require a Pricing Analyst to join their Pricing and Modelling Department. This role would suit candidates with previous relevant experience or Graduate with a relevant degree and the pre requisite IT skills
Main purpose of the role
Responsible for producing and developing the data analysis needed to determine whether a portfolio of debt will be purchased
Key responsibilities
Working with pricing model to produce indicative purchase price for sale portfolios
Analysis of portfolio composition e.g. customer demographics, account characteristics, trace testing
Performance of an onsite audit of client operations
Attend pricing meetings
Work with external consultants to implement model improvements
Support operations to book newly purchased debt into the collections system
Provide analytical support to directors and business functions
Participation in projects
Experience
Experience of using reporting software e.g. Crystal, Business objects, SQL is desirable
Qualifications
Numerate degree or relevant equivalent experience
Skills
Demonstrate basic analytical ability
Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills e.g. use of Pivot tables, Macros
Basic/intermediate level Microsoft Access skills e.g. extracting data, Queries.
Effective communicator
Good organisational skills
Basic Programming skills desirable
