Our client is looking to recruit a Head House Keeper to support the Executive House Keeper and to maintain the 5 Star standards to motivate and mentor the house keeping.
The ideal candidate will have impeccable appearance and standards, and will have had previous housekeeping experience in a 4* hotel or similar serviced apartment business, and to have supervised a minimum of six staff on a regular basis.
As Head Housekeeper you main duties and responsibilities will be....
• Schedules staff in accordance with forecasted occupancy, and adjusts staffing as necessary for changes in occupancy
• Recruit new members of the team with the assistance of the Accommodations Manager and Human Resources
• Prepare Weekly charts and update on a regular basis.
• Ensuring that weekend charts are updated and weekend arrivals/departures are
• Prepare daily job sheets for cleaners and porters (now know as housekeeping staff)
• Conduct daily and random inspections of the property, all housekeeping areas, and follows-up where necessary. Including occupied apartments.
• Makes sure that furnishing, facilities and equipment within the housekeeping areas are maintained in the cleanest possible condition, and ensures that repair and maintenance is executed when needed.
