Award winning Financial Services business require a Modelling Analysts to work as part of their Pricing and Modelling department. This role is ideally suited to ambitious, motivated candidates who are looking for career progression and personal development
Main purpose of the role
To perform behavioural analysis on portfolios owned and for purchase by the business in order to drive commercial decisions and improve operational strategies.
Key responsibilities
Perform statistical analysis using SAS and SPSS Answertree
Train junior analysts in use of SAS
Put forward recommendations to senior management based on analysis
Develop segmented strategies for deployment in operational area
Monitor and improve strategies on an ongoing basis
Provide cover in pricing area
Portfolio analysis & data sampling
Attend due diligence process
Data preparation and validation for pricing & book on
Experience of data analysis
Understanding of the credit industry
Experience of using Experian SM software or similar product
Experience of using SPSS Answertree or similar product (desirable)
Qualifications
Numerate degree qualification (preferred degrees include Business, Statistics, Finance) or equivalent relevant experience
Skills
Strong analytical skills
Proficient in SAS programming
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) programs
Communication skills and presentation skills
