    Main purpose of the role

    We are a busy department of approximately 100 staff who manage a portfolio of insolvent debt for one of the firm’s top 5 clients. In this bulk processing department, we receive approximately 14000 items of post per week and must process these items in line with strict SLAs. The department strives for quality of service and efficient processes which allows us to operate profitably as well as delivering good profits to the client

    Key responsibilities:

    You will be liaising with Insolvency Practitioners and team colleagues, inputting information gained from them onto an excel spreadsheet which will be sent to the Client, therefore accuracy is key.

    Technical knowledge of personal insolvency would be beneficial, however, full training and mentor support will be given.

    You will also proactively look for ways to improve procedures and processes within the team and department.

    Skills and experience:

    Excellent processing, organisation, prioritisation and communication skills are essential for this role, coupled with keen attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

    Though this is not a purely telephone-based role, it does require the ability to deal with 3rd parties on the telephone and respond to queries effectively.

    Key competencies:

    You will have the ability to work effectively within a busy and diverse team. You will also have effective communication skills which are essential for this role as workload is shared with other team members.

    You will be a self-motivator and have the ability to work to deadlines without compromising the quality of work. You will be expected to manage your workload whilst keeping your line manager updated daily.
