Award winning, Leeds based Financial Services company wish to recruit a Security and Facilities Assistant to maintain the security and safety of the employees, visitors, building and contents.
Key Responsibilities
• To ensure staff adherence to the Security policy
• To open the office on a daily basis including unlocking all security windows and fire grills.
• To check security passes for all staff and visitors when entering and leaving the building
• To conduct electrical PAT testing for all portable electrical items
• To conduct daily and weekly Health and Safety assessments on the building and report and/or address any maintenance issues where appropriate
• To assist with any office furniture removals
• To ensure the upkeep of the company garden area and tidiness of the car park.
• To ensure all cars parked in the car park are according to the company guidelines and a record kept of any offenders.
• To coordinate the delivery of any goods to the building from external suppliers and ensure they are accounted for and distributed accordingly
• To conduct any deliveries or collections of goods/documents
• To provide cover for Reception as and when required
• Any other duties commensurate with this role
Experience Required
• Previous experience of caretaking/maintenance work
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations desirable
• Good interpersonal skills
