PROCUREMENT OPERATIONS & FACILITIES MANAGER, BD1, £35,000 - £45,000 + Bupa, Free parking and Bonus up to 10% on target
PURPOSE OF JOB
Manage Procurement Operations and Facilities, Negotiate Commodity & Services Contracts, and Responsible for Managing Outsourced Facility & Procurement Vendors
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops procurement strategies based on market analysis, user requirements, and company objectives.
- Negotiates and formalizes supplier agreements for assigned procurement & facilities commodities/services as well as other various business requirements.
- Manages day-to-day operational activity involving assigned procurement commodities and contracts including market analysis, operational issues, financial issues, service level requirements, product & service delivery requirements, product receipt, invoice and payment issues, product returns, and contract closeouts
- Manages and measures supplier performance against contract requirements and service level agreements.
- Manages outsourced facility vendors and provides responsive resolution for urgent facility/building issues, both within and outside of normal working hours
PERSON SPECIFICATION
-Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or equivalent; MBA or Masters Degree in Procurement, Finance, or Sourcing or equivalent a plus
-Previous experience managing a Procurement Operation; Previous experience competitively sourcing various commodities & services; Previous experience managing an outsourced vendor relationship
- Membership/Certification in Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) and/or other Procurement and/or Real Estate certifications or equivalent
- It would be desirable if applicants had COSHH and/or NEBOSH qualification
