| PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR £25K Our client, a well-established manufacturer within the chemistry industry is looking to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor. You will be providing leadership and negotiate costs to increase profitability and meet customer demand THE ROLE Organise and supervise the operations workforce Manage workloads to ensure targets are met and maintain customer lead times Manage total production process ensuring costs are kept to the lowest level possible responsible for the condition of the production plant negotiate plant maintenance and repair priorities with the engineering department Actively promote and manage continuous improvement of SHE and operational practices, through organisation, discipline and training Assist in the setting and achieving, relevant site, company and group business safety and environmental improvement targets Cover the role of Production Controller when required THE PERSON Competent in use of MS Word, Excel, Access Advanced SAP user, MM, PP, QM Astute, exceptional attention to detail Applicants should have ability to learn and adapt the drivers of product demand, and a track record of instigating and progressing process improvement through a range of techniques Candidates will have good communication and interpersonal skills, effective teamwork is especially important due to limited available resource and short customer lead times, yet this central demand that candidates are also able to work independently using their own initiative COMPANY BENEFITS Huge global business, variety of sites and units all over the world! 25 days holiday + stats + Christmas shut down End of year bonus depending upon profitability In the first instance, please email your CV to linda.roberts@primetime.co.uk or call Linda on 01484 711966.
