Experienced turners working on products up to 30foot long and 20" diameter 4 jaw chuck with DTI.Working off spiders (thimbles) and one or two steadies. Reading from drawings and using an electronic wall gauge. Working to close tolerance screw cutting experience essential. Preferred experience within oil field or working with large components. Apprentice trained or experience on conventional lathes essential. Benefits include sickness, bonus and free PPE. Will be working days and nights rotating weekly, average 37 hour week, Early finish on Fridays. The days are Monday to Thursday 8hrs, with a 20 min unpaid break = 7.6 hrs, Fridays are 6.6 hours. Nights Monday to Wednesday 10 hrs with a 30 min unpaid break = 9.5 hrs, Thursday night is 9hrs with a 30 min unpaid break = 8.5 hrs total 37 hrs + 12.33 hrs night allowance total 49.33hrs. All overtime is paid at time and a half up to 12 noon Saturday, double time up to midnight Sunday.
