My client is an established manufacturing organisation, now requiring a part time Audit & Compliance Co-ordinator, following expansion. This role is based near Wakefield. This role is offered on a 2½ day week (Monday – Wednesday).
The role
Reporting directly to the Strategic Procurement Manager, this role is predominantly concerned with the following activities:
•Co-ordination of all audit life cycles, ensuring timely return of all audits reports, including non compliances and management of suppliers in relation to auditor’s recommendations.
•Constant communication with internal and external suppliers. Management of the audit process in overseas suppliers.
•Monthly reporting on status of Audits and action plans
•Requesting and progressing technical product information and ensure accurate and timely data entry on company and client specific databases
This role is critical to my client’s business to ensure suppliers meet satisfactory ethical and technical audits. Contact will be with both suppliers and customers.
This role requires a great attention to detail, passion regarding ethical audit success and a tenacious individual to ensure timely delivery.
The successful candidate
•Will have a minimum of two years administration experience. This must have been gained in either an audit, purchasing or manufacturing environment. Candidates without experience in these areas will not be considered.
•Will be able to manage this large administrative role, and understand all systems and procedures with ease
•Will ideally have an interest in environmental impacts on business
•Will be a self-starter, self motivated and be able to work under own initiative
•Experience of working with far east factories would be an advantage

This role attracts a full time salary of up to £20,000 pro rata, plus annual company wide bonus.
