Our client is looking for a dynamic Account Executive to work on Britain's biggest selling advertising publication.
Working from centrally located city centre offices you will take on a territory of long term regular customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing their individual advertising requirements on a weekly basis. You will be their first point of call for all enquiries and will be expected to offer excellent levels of customer service to ensure a good working relationship is maintained.
As well as servicing regular customers you will also be expected to cold canvass prospective and new potential clients with a view to build your customer base/territory.
They are looking for a bright, energetic individual to help move the business forward and develop the product portfolio further. As well as being extremely self motivated they are looking for a team player.
Duties/Responsibilities include:
To maintain and increase advertising revenue by telephone canvassing of current and potential customers.
To project a professional image in promoting the product.
Responsibility for all current business placed by contract customers, to include: -
a) Accurate placing of advertising as requested by customers.
b) Ensuring that a full service offered.
c) Dealing with all enquires from customer, including queries and complaints.
d) Maintaining accurate and complete records.
e) Liaising with copy collectors to arrange customer calls/cash collections.
f) All pre-payments to be collected by the designated cut off period.
To meet all set standards including monthly sales revenue and daily / weeks performance targets.
Determination and resilience to succeed are a must. Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and computer literacy are again essential to carry out the role successfully.
This is by no means an every day sales role. It is a fast moving business and every day is different.
Previous telesales experience would be an advantage but it is not essential.
