Job: Senior Structural Engineer, Leeds
Salary Range: ££35k base upwardsdependent on relevant experience

Current and past projectsinclude the Audi Headquarters,The Arsenal Emirates stadium,The Al Faisaliah in Saudi Arabia,iconic pavilions in the centre of Stoke, a boutique hotel in Leeds, retail / commercial mixed use city centre regeneration schemes in five locations in the North of England, refurbishment of listed mill buildings in Sleaford, several further education colleges and university buildings, healthcare facilities, and high rise apartment buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Job Leader
Work competently on an independent basis
Communicate directly with Clients
Prepare technical and financial proposals for new work
Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians (including verification of quality)
Prepare and take responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design
Prepare Technical Specifications
Monitor financial performance of jobs
Set up and manage job/project administrative systems, including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure (adjusting these as necessary).
Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the client are achieved.
Qualifications:
Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer.
Or
In special circumstances, typically six years relevant working experience or equivalent with either a Bachelors degree in Engineering (BEng) or Masters degree in Engineering (MEng) and clear evidence of working towards chartership.
Person Specification:
A Senior Engineer must be able to deliver to the agreed technical standards
