| We need experienced team leaders with proven experience and understanding of mortgage arrears in the county court. You should have an understanding of the legal environment and ideally, experience a team leader or people manager. We work in a very friendly environment in Bradford city centre BD1 and can offer a salary of upto £25000 and excellent benefits Secured Recoveries Specialist - Team Leader x 3, Secured Finance Recoveries Job Title: Secured Recoveries Specialist – Team Leader Salary: up to £25k Hours of Work: 35 hours per week (9.00am – 5.00pm) 1 hour for lunch (requires a degree of flexibility which may involve some unpaid overtime) 1 JOB PURPOSE To conduct a high volume caseload of mortgage arrears debt recovery instructions from a number of lender and/or financial institutions. 2 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES • To ensure an effective recovery and/or rehabilitation service is conducted • To provide a quality service to all clients • To uphold Drydens’ values • To deal with all steps of the recovery process whether through litigation or not • To report to department manager on progress • To provide quality advice to clients and team members on all aspects of debt recovery • To manage a volume caseload ensuring internal and external service levels are met • To liaise with clients on a day to day basis • To oversee the ongoing training and development of other team/department members • To attend court hearings as and when necessary 3 SCOPE OF THE ROLE The jobholder will be based in Bradford. However it may on some occasions be necessary to attend client meetings throughout the country which may (very) occasionally involve overnight stays. 4 PERSON SPECIFICATION • Excellent telephone manner • The drive to focus clearly on targets set both internally and externally • The competence to manage a caseload with minimal supervision • Good negotiation skills • The ability to work well under pressure • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Excellent motivation, leadership and coaching skills 5 TECHNICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS • Proven skills in a volume environment • Prior experience of a team leader (or equivalent) role is an advantage but is not essential • Experience of mortgage arrears in the County Court • An understanding of the legal environment • Competent use of MS Word and Excel • Experience of a case management system an advantage but not essential |
