KEY RESULT AREAS:
•Contribute to the development of Credit Control policies and practices for the business through in-depth research and analysis of internal and external data.
•Undertake end to end file reviews of all cases sold at a loss to the business, identifying trends and discrepancies.
•Assist in the monitoring of Credit Control policies and procedures to promote good practice and compliance.
•Adhoc analysis to support management decisioning, including the review of live portfolios and potential fraud cases.
•Manage projects to achieve business improvements.
•Develop a robust suite of Management Information to support the business.
•Exploit disparate sources of data (commercial, operational, customer, market, industry) to build a complete view of Credit Strategy performance.
•Contribute to product development, lending policy changes, scorecard enhancements and loss provisioning model changes.
•Provide advice and guidance in the management of contentious cases and complaint resolution
EXPERIENCE:
•Experience of mortgages, including a good understanding of the end-to-end mortgage process
•Experience of arrears and possessions including a good understanding of the end-to-end process including litigation/evictions etc.
•Strong MS Office skills
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships across departments
Desirable:
•Previous experience in an analytical role
•Previous project management
•Good working knowledge of all operating systems, including UFSS and Omiga
