One of Leeds leading law firms is seeking an experienced legal secretary to join their employment department on a part time basis, you will be working 21 hours over 5 days (times would be flexible).
This role will involve working closely with partners and fee earners, providing them with a comprehensive, efficient and accurate secretarial service. You will be responsible for co-ordinating fee earner diaries, giving administrative support to the team and acting as the key contact point for clients. You will be required to audio type and produce general letters, notes, forms and any other documentation. You will also have responsibility for completing all related administration and filing to ensure that files are maintained in good order.
You should be able to bring legal secretarial experience with you. Experience within an Employment Law or Pensions environment would be a distinct advantage.
The ideal candidate will be committed to producing a high quality of work, be adaptable to changing demands and priorities and be capable of working on their own initiative. An excellent telephone manner and the confidence to deal with a wide range of queries will be important as is a commitment to client care. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with good communication skills, strong organisational and time management skills and they must also possess the ability to work as part of a team.
GCSE passes at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English are required as is the ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of the Microsoft Office Package
