Our client is a reputable and well established structural engineering organisation. They now seek an experienced individual to join their team as Marketing Communications Executive.
This is a full time, permanent role, based in Bradford and reporting directly to the Managing Director, with responsibility for one Assistant.
The role
Responsibilities for this role include:
• Responsibility for all marketing communications, internally and externally
• Production of technical literature on the company’s product range
• Website content and design management
• Production of designs for product packaging
• Project management of company’s attendance at trade exhibitions
• External agency liaison including sourcing of relevant suppliers and management of all activities
• Undertake market research, including competitor analysis and maintenance of statistical industry information for communication throughout the business
The successful candidate will
• Have experience of a technical environment, preferably construction related, with a minimum of two years marketing communications in a similar B2B industry
• Have experience of planning, controlling and monitoring budgets
• Be able to write concise and accurate reports and proposals
• Have proof-reading skills and experience
• IT skills such as : Microsoft, Website design, Desktop Publishing (ie Coral Draw)
• Have an above average understanding of design and print processes
• Management of agencies, including PR and printing
• Have a minimum of two years management experience
• An understanding of the concept of mechanical engineering would be a distinct advantage
• Ideally have a formal marketing qualification, although this is not essential
• Be happy to work in a ‘hands on’ role, with responsibility for all marketing communications.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the above experience, looking to join a market leading organisation, active in global markets. The successful candidate will command a salary of £30,000.
