The Company A European Market Leader within its industry, this organisation is experiencing rapid growth and is recruiting within their IT Development department. There are nearly 200 industry specialists based across two sites in modern offices and the data centre within a rural Yorkshire setting. Easily accessible by car and close to the major motorway networks, ideally commutable from both the Lancashire and Yorkshire regions. Achieving first class honors in the 2008 'Best Companies to Work For' awards scheme, this company has also featured in the Sunday Times The Opportunity The position of Project Manager has arisen within a Professional Services Team consisting of qualified Prince2 practitioners. You will be responsible for managing the implementation of a range of market leading software products to a rapidly increasing customer base. The Role in Depth The position will be home based although will involve frequent travel to UK customer sites and at regular intervals to the offices based in West and North Yorkshire. You will be working with and learning from a group of dynamic individuals in an entrepreneurial, quick moving and stimulating environment. The tools used will be a variety to aid project management such as MS Project, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel. Experience of these or similar will give a definite advantage. Essential Skills and Experience You should have at least 3 years commercial project management experience Good communication and customer facing skills - both to a technical and non-technical audience A desire to learn and adapt and a passion for customer satisfaction Commercially aware A self-starter with the ability to think outside the box and desire to make things happen Prince2 practitioner would be advantageous but not essential Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you possess a full and clean driving license and are eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
