Currently supplying to a diverse range of industries throughout UK our client has had unrivalled success and growth over the last few years. This company is now a formidable force as a leading independent supplier of multiple products to the engineering, construction and building services.
As a Fleet Manager you will manage the main depot with 70+ HGV vehicles and trailers maintaining all aspects of driver management. Extremely varied and challenging the successful candidate will be working in a similar role who has a high level of commitment, motivation, organisational and communication skills. If you have previous experience of implementing key processes or fleet modernisation then this would be highly advantageous. Whilst motivating drivers, investigate new systems, manage the maintenance and servicing of vehicles, analyse tachos, review health & safety issues are some of the responsibilities you will need to flexible and approachable to succeed. An in depth knowledge of Operator License legislation, Working Time Directive rules and Drivers is essential. CPC qualifications is also essential or someone working towards this.
