| Our client, part of the NHS, is looking to employ a breakfast Chef on an Ongoing/Tempary basis Situated Leeds 9, you will be working as a breakfast Chef/Cook in a busy industrial kitchen environment. You have to have the capability and desire to take control of the kitchen during busy morning periods and work on own Merritt. Independence, communication and inter personal skills would be highly beneficial for this role. Must have previous experience high volume kitchen and be capable of performing the following duties: · Monitoring, controlling and accurately recording all fridge, freezer and food temperatures. · Ensure all food items are labelled and stored, in accordance with the Food Safety Policy. · Assist the Head Chef / Line Manager with the collation and placing of orders · Advising the Line Manager of any non - compliance to legislation or procedure. Ensure equipment and areas used are left in a clean and tidy condition. · Control and accurately record all food wastage. · Monitor, record and implement corrective action when necessary. · Ensure compliance to the Departmental Health and Safety. · Policy Control and assist with the preparation, cooking, display and service of all food items, in accordance with the Food Safety policy Produce. Own transport is a benefit but not essential. Only Genuine applicants will be considered. We will be conducting interviews late this week and early next week. |
