Job Description
This city centre financial services organisation is seeking an experienced corporate pensions administrator to join their team. You will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of corporate clients with a range of pension schemes and providing administrative and technical support to the sales team.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
To deal with incoming post, emails and telephone calls in a timely manner.
To provide administrative and technical support to the sales consultants.
To comply with FSA requirements.
To maintain accurate and concise paper and computer records.
To liaise with clients and providers in writing and over the telephone.
To be responsible for the servicing of their own portfolio of clients and providing regular communication to consultant as applicable.
To keep abreast of industry changes and regulation.
Will exercise considerable discretion and independence under general guidance but refer to higher levels for policy and professional decisions.
Check all client documentation for accuracy prior to issue to the client.
Ensure company procedures are followed, in order to adhere with both quality standards and compliance regulation.
To accurately record all relevant commission income for your clients/department on to Adviser Office.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
Experience in a similar role is essential with a minimum of 2 years in the Financial Services Industry.
Qualifications Required:
Educated to 'O' Level or G.C.S.E standard (ideally A to C, including Maths and English) - essential
The candidate will have the Financial Planning Certificate - Parts 1, 2 and 3 (or equivalent examinations) or currently be studying towards this.
