Job Description
ELECTRICAL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Crosslee plc is one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of domestic tumble dryers. We have a strong reputation for our reliable, competitively priced, high quality products, which include gas and electric fires and the Hostess trolley range.
There is an immediate requirement for an Electrical Development Engineer to help develop our products along with creating new ones. This is an exciting challenge for a graduate who will need to be a practically minded with a ‘hands on’ approach to problem solving.
The successful candidate will be Degree/HNC/ONC qualified in either Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
The ideal candidate will need to have a broad range of skills and sufficient engineering experience to be able to identify, develop, test and introduce improvements to our existing range of products, whilst working within industry and safety guidelines.
The candidate will also ideally be familiar with electrical and gas appliances, AutoCAD and Microsoft XP and Office software.
You will be given structured training from day one and in return we are looking for individuals who have strong leadership and team working skills, have a determination to succeed and have the ability to thrive in a demanding and challenging environment.
The role would be ideally suited to a person who has the enthusiasm and drive to progress further in their career through personal development, which would be rewarded by a starting salary of £20,000.00 per annum plus an attendance bonus of £1624.00 (paid monthly). 32 days holiday per annum (which includes bank holidays) are offered with extra days attainable through attendance.
