COMPANY INFORMATION
Our client is looking for a dynamic Field Sales Account Executive to work on Britain's biggest selling advertising publication.
Based at city centre offices for 25% of the working week and out in the field for the remainder; you will ensure the continuous development of new and existing accounts in your territory by achieving agreed sales targets and offering the best possible customer service.
ROLE INFORMATION
Duties/Responsibilities include:
To achieve agreed targets and objectives
To further develop existing accounts on your territory and also to actively cold call to increase new advertisers
To make maximum use of selling time and to achieve call rates as agreed with the Trade Sales Manager
To ensure that journey/appointment planners and diary are used as working documents and accurately completed
To ensure that copy is complete, clearly marked and errors avoided
Work with the Production Department to create / update artwork for existing and prospective clients, making full use of visuals to sell new ideas
To maintain a bank of testimonial records and use it effectively
To ensure that service to clients is exemplary and meets their requirements
To ensure that customer queries are dealt with promptly
To initiate own advert ideas
To be aware of competitive media activity and to efficiently follow up any competitive media leads
To familiarise yourself with all aspects of the marketing presentation pack
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Our client is looking for a bright, energetic individual to help move the business forward and develop the product portfolio further. As well as being extremely self-motivated they are looking for a team player.
Determination and resilience to succeed are a must. Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and computer literacy are again essential to carry out the role successfully.
This is by no means an every day sales role. It is a fast moving business and every day is different.
Experience of working in the automotive industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
