The successful candidate will play a key role in the provision of robust and timely tax compliance reporting to the Compliance manager within the finance team.
Month end preparation of corporation tax and PAYE settlement agreement data to support the annual HMRC submissions.
Liaison with Divisional secretaries and department heads to ensure timely and relevant submission of data for tax analysis.
Assistance with the preparation of ROI and UK corporation tax payments on account calculations.
Preparation of the ROI VAT return.
Preparation of annual PAYE settlement agreement submissions to HMRC.
Assistance with ad-hoc project work
Assistance with the organisation of in-house and external training for Provident finance staff
You will be an AAT qualified individual or equivalent qualified by experience.
You will be comfortable with the interrogation of nominal ledger data and be able to extract data for analysis in Excel. You will have good communication skills, with a desire for continuous improvement.
