My client is a Provincial Broker in West Yorkshire looking for an individual to join their team as an Account Handler.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Incoming post
* Document checking (proposal forms/policies)
* Setting up & maintaining computer records
* Obtaining information from prospective clients to provide quotes
* Obtain quotes from underwriters & online quote systems
* Taking instructions on new claims and dealing with ongoing claims
* Credit management (incl chasing o/s payments)
* Must have basic typing skills and be literate.
You must be from a Insurance Broking background to be considered for this role or alternatively have Commercial Insurance experience.
