    Title: Finance Executive Salary: £19,000

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Executive to join a leading organisation based in Cleckheaton. Working in a modern and vibrant environment the post holder will work closely with a sales team, supporting and assisting with all financial processes and systems including the preparation of team tracking documents, budgets, cash flows, and final reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have previous finance experience and the confidence to guide others on the team in financial matters.

    The Role:
    In this full-time permanent position the Finance Executive will be working alongside a sales team, separate from the finance department, in a standalone role. This role will support the team with their day to day budgets, involving checking/updating team budgets, managing large Excel spreadsheets, checking formulas and generally supporting the team with knowledge on VAT / foreign currency. The post-holder will also attend meetings with the Finance Director and occasionally present in team meetings, giving an update on team finances. Responsibilities will include: implementing and ensuring team finance tracking documents are in place and kept up to date; responsible for team finance SOPs; providing advice and guidance to the Account Team in all VAT procedures; providing advice and guidance to the Account Team in company foreign currency and exchange rate policies; organising, planning and prioritising own workload to meet objectives and deadlines. In addition to this you will be: maintaining a clear financial overview of team finances across all clients; maintenance of team finance documents; producing regular financial updates for clients and assisting in producing quarterly and annual financial and management reports; assistance with preparation and maintenance of budgets; raising invoices; checking final reconciliation; assisting Credit Control in chasing outstanding client invoice payments; training new starters on financial procedure within the team; attend client finance update meetings; attend quarterly financial reviews.

    Who we're looking for:
    We are looking for someone with previous experience within a finance role with knowledge of budgets / VAT / foreign currency. The candidate will need to be confident enough to instruct and guide a non-finance team on financial matters, be able to present on team meetings and meet with the Finance Director. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, constantly strive to improve performance and be pro-active in the approach to work.
