THE COMPANY
This company is the largest manufacturer within their sector in the UK. They supply a variety of industries including a lot of work for automotive companies.
Due to workload they require a CNC Miller to join them on a permanent basis on days.
ROLE OVERVIEW
*We require a skilled CNC Miller to set and operate a Haas machine with Fanuc controls.
*Batches range from one offs to runs of over 1000, and the work is varied.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Set and operate machine using Fanuc controls from technical drawings.
*Set machines using existing programs to produce "first off" components.
*Work to fine surface finishes and tolerances.
REQUIREMENTS
*You must be apprentice trained, or able to demonstrate a similar level of skill.
*Programming ability with Fanuc controls is an advantage but may not be essential.
*Experience with Haas machines would be an advantage.
*You must be hard working and self motivated.
*You should have a good all-round engineering experience.
