IT Business Engagement is responsible for the relationship between the Society and Group Projects & IT. They operate as virtual Heads of IT for the business units they partner and ensure operational success through the ownership of the business service levels.
As the Head of IT Business Engagement, you and your team of Business Relationship Managers will be actively involved in developing and influencing business and technical strategy and project plans. You will proactively help the business to identify and plan for opportunities to use IT to gain business benefit, whilst maintaining our competitor advantage through intimate knowledge of industry IT developments.
If you:
• Are a proven IT leader at both strategic and operational level, with a drive for results, coupled with rounded management skills
• Have experience working within the retail financial services industry
• Have excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Possess excellent communication and business relationship skills, with the ability to manage and resolve competing and conflicting priorities
• Have the ability to be commercial with IT investment, with practical experience of directing 3rd parties
