Senior Buyer
£20000 - £25000
Our client based in Leeds is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their existing team.
You will be responsible for proactively managing and delivering the purchasing needs of the company through strong negotiation ability and management of supplier relationships.
The role will involve
*Effectively planning and delivering the company's purchasing needs
*Speaking to suppliers both UK and internationally based.
*Negotiation and administration of purchasing contracts
*Proactively manage cost saving budgeting and targeting.
*Ensuring the company complies with all necessary legislation surrounding international trade
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within buying and have worked with suppliers internationally. The ideal candidate will have the CIPS qualification and be working towards MCIPS.
You must have proven strong negotiation skills and have excellent analytical ability.
