Buyer
£20,000 - £23000
Our Client based on the outskirts of Leeds is looking for a Buyer to join there existing team.
You will be responsible for proactively managing and delivering the purchasing needs of specific contracts through strong negotiation ability and management of supplier relationships and service level agreements.
The role will involve
*Purchasing and distribution of raw materials, equipment, machinery, supplies and sub - contractor orders.
*Effectively planning and delivering the company's purchasing needs.
*Maintain and analyse market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability.
*Negotiation and administration of purchasing contracts.
* Reviewing, monitoring and maintaining purchase systems and procedures.
*Proactively manage cost saving budgeting and targeting.
*
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within buying in an electrical or mechanical engineering environment and have the CIPS qualification or be working towards this.
You must have proven strong negotiation skills and have excellent analytical ability.
