The Company
The company is a highly successful international engineering firm.
They have a full order book and recently demand has been increasing steadily so they are now expanding capacity.
The Role
*The role will involve setting and operating a Toshiba machining centre with Tosnuc controls (similar to Fanuc).
*Programming is done offline so you will be loading pre-written programs.
*The work is varied and interesting, mostly one offs and small batches.
*You will be employed directly by the company on a permanent contract.
There are currently positions available on the double day shift.
Overtime is paid at time and a half.
Requirements
*We require candidates with experience running Machining Centres.
*An apprenticeship is not essential if you can demonstrate the ability to do the job.
*Programming skills are not essential but you must be a capable, confident setter/operator.
