Hours Per Week: Full (30-40 hours) and part time hours (15-20 hours) available
Location: City Centre
Temporary Ice Rink General Assistant – (for 8 weeks commencing on15/01/09)
To provide a variety of front-of-house functions at the Ice Cube on Millennium Square, the UK’s largest outdoor temporary ice rink. This will involve staffing the busy skate reception, cash handling, use of pre-programmed cash registers and handling customer footwear, bags, coats and ice skates. You will also deal with public enquiries both face to face and over the telephone.
You will posses excellent customer service skills and be used to working in a busy, pressurised environment. Previous experience in cash handling is essential and working with pre-programmed cash registers would be advantageous.
Both full-time positions (30-40 hours per week mainly on week-day daytime shifts) and part-time positions (15-20 hours per week mainly on evenings and weekends) are available.
Candidates who wish to apply must be able to attend a recruitment day on Monday 1st December.
