My client based in Wakefield is seeking to recruit a bookkeeper to run their accounts function and produce accounts upto trial balance. Applicants will ideally have a background within the construction industry and/or have experience of job costings.
Your duties will include:
Purchase ledger
Paying suppliers
Weekly payroll for 30 people
VAT returns
Fixed assets
Accruals
Job costings
CIS
Answering any general accounts queries
You must be a team player but be able to work on your own initiative, experience of Sage Line 200 is also desirable but not essential. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful company and be part of a friendly, stable team.
Working Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm with car parking facilities
