Title: IT Manager / Systems Engineer / Support Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £30,000
THE ROLE
An IT Manager / Systems Engineer is required for an international market leading manufacturer based in Manchester. Reporting directly to the Board, this role will take full ownership for the Company's IT estate, including a Windows environment, associated networks (WAN/LAN) and the organisations MRP/ERP and CAD Systems.
This is a unique opportunity for Systems Engineers to gain Board Level exposure and progress their careers into IT Management. The role will be varied and will include System's installation in addition to maintenance and administration
A degree of International travel maybe required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The successful Candidate will ideally be qualified to an MCSE or MCITP level but as this is a standalone role, confidence, self motivation and the ability to solve problems quickly and to tight deadlines, are essential.
Ideally, you will have worked in a manufacturing environment however it is essential that you possess the following technical skills and experience:
*Windows 2003 Server and Desktop Environment (including Exchange and Blackberry)
*Network Infrastructure (including WAN and LAN)
*MRP/ERP and/or CAD System installation and maintenance
