To work as part of the team, effectively providing a hands on advisory service that exceeds client expectations and supports the Partner/Manager team.
Main Responsibilities
Delivers TRM and IT audit services to clients and works with the wider risk management services team to add IT controls knowledge to assignments, Works closely with the audit practice to review IT risks and undertake data analysis using IDEA. Works on mainstream audit support work involving reviews of clients\' systems and providing training and advice on a range of IT related issues, Develops technical awareness of specific Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft, Ensures effective delegation of work to other members of team, ensuring assistants understand their responsibilities, Trains and develops assistants within team, ensuring on-the-job objectives and appraisals are agreed and conducted, Is aware of the wide range of my clients services and spots opportunities to sell those services to clients, Is actively involved in office marketing events when appropriate and is an \'ambassador\' of the firm, Attends training courses as identified in order to develop both technical and personal skills and keeps records for CPD purposes
Adheres to Firm\'s risk management policies, undertakes other duties to meet the demands of the business.
Education and Qualifications
Essential
Professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA) or some financial accounting knowledge
Desirable
First time passes at each stage of professional exams CISA or QiCA qualification
Essential
Experience of using Microsoft packages, internet, email.Experience of providing Technology Risk services and of large audits, including an understanding of control techniques
Desirable
Previous experience of client work in relevant industries to Practices audit clients,Experience of using IDEA or similar interrogation software, Can think creatively in generating and delivering bespoke solutions to clients
