THE COMPANY
Established for over 20 years and working within the corporate and public sectors, this organisation is home to specialists within the IT industry and provides expert advice to a broad range of Clients.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The main function of this role is to be responsible for the creation and delivery of the company's marketing strategy and its execution and success using the full marketing mix to increase sales, develop the companies brand while managing a team of direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Create and deliver the companies marketing strategy and brand using the full marketing mix
*Use effective marketing to increase sales
*Manage and communicate the tactical marketing plan across the business, ensuring all teams are fully integrated
*Develop strong relationships with key vendors generating joint campaigns/funds to support vendor tactical activity, aiming to attract new business and retain/develop existing business
*Improve the ROI and effectiveness of marketing activity through regular evaluation and analysis
*Influence the companies CRM strategy to drive consistent and accurate marketing activity
*Provide innovation and differentiation in the market through the campaigns and marketing tools
*Work with the management to optimize use of resources, drive operational improvements and business growth
*Effective operational management and development of the marketing team
*Develop the companies brand with our key vendors so we are seen as their key channel partner and partner of choice
*Identify new opportunities and create proposals for marketing campaigns.
*Identify and secure funding for any marketing activity that we deliver for the managed vendors and service partners
*Manage budgets and funds from vendors to cover the costs of campaigns
*Be responsible for the lead logging of key vendors products to drive the companies brand in key vendors

KNOWLEDGE
*3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
*A workable knowledge of Software Licensing
*Marketing Degree
*A good understanding of Channel Sales processes
*An understanding of the impact of cost versus return ratios - ROI and it's measurement
*In depth knowledge of strategic marketing campaigns
*Understanding of Public and Private Market sectors, current influences & trends and the competitive landscape
*Broad understanding of IT in general and networks, business critical systems etc...
*A broad understanding of the company's goals, and the Sales, Alliances & Marketing strategy in particular
*Broad awareness of the companies customer base, and knowledge of our key customers and supplier contracts
*In depth knowledge of the companies products & services

THE PACKAGE
*Basic Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 OTE £45,000
