THE COMPANY
An opportunity has become available at a leading forgings company providing high quality engineered products to key industries such as defence, nuclear, oil and gas exploration, and power generation.
The company is seeking a NDT Manager preferably with experience in a similar industry.
THE ROLE
*Managing the day to day activities of the inspection departments: MPI / Dye Penetrant / Ultrasonic inspection.
*Control of personnel: qualification and training requirements
*Control of equipment: placing contracts and controlling timing of calibration and maintenance
*Procedures: Writing specific NDT procedures on a job by job basis
*Certification: Preparing certificates for completed operations
*Inspection status: Keeping and ongoing log of inspection status in order to sign off all works as complete.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*To apply you will have extensive experience in the principal NDT disciplines and be able to demonstrate your aptitude for a management position.
*The successful applicant may be asked to continue with training to gain an ASNT level III certificate.
THE PACKAGE
Salary: Competitive + bens
Hours: 37.5 per week
