THE COMPANY
The company is a market leading medium to heavy engineering firm. They manufacture rotating equipment for a variety of industries. Due to their continued success, the company is expanding to meet demand. They offer excellent prospects and benefits.
THE ROLE
The company requires a skilled machinist to work on days on a Union Line Borer with Heidenhain controls. You will be working within large, well equipped machine shop. The company has implemented modern techniques such as Lean manufacturing and is moving to a cell based layout.
REQUIREMENTS
*A recognized apprenticeship is essential.
*You must have experience working on borers.
*Experience with Heidenhain controls is ideal but we will consider candidates with Fanuc experience or similar.
*Programming experience would be an advantage.
