Faculty of Biological Sciences
(Full-time 35 hours per week)
Applications are invited for a post of trainee technician based in the Faculty of Biological Sciences supporting undergraduate practical teaching across the broad spectrum of biological sciences. A well-defined three year training programme will be agreed and it is expected that study will take place for an appropriate qualification on a day release basis. This is a unique opportunity to develop a career in Biological Sciences.
With effective communication skills, you will be enthusiastic, well motivated and hold at least two science A levels, one of which must be Biology. Candidates with three GCSEs (grade C above or equivalent) including Mathematics, English and a science subject (or their equivalent) may also be considered.
