    THE COMPANY
    Established for over 20 years and working within the corporate and public sectors, this organisation is home to specialists within the IT industry and provides expert advice to a broad range of Clients.

    ROLE OVERVIEW
    The role is a field based Sales role, representing the organisation in customer and prospect accounts, carrying out face to face meetings and supporting all sectors within a specified region (North East and West of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland) reporting to the York office a minimum of 2 days per month.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    *Develop the accounts into regularly buying 'house accounts' to create incremental business.
    *Identify & proactively maximise opportunities for sales growth within customer & prospect accounts
    *Build a short, medium and long term sales pipeline of opportunities equal to three times the monthly sales target
    *Deliver sales to achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for the new & existing customer base
    *Develop and maintain strong relationships with all existing & prospect customers, working with and through the sales teams to develop new and existing lines of business
    *Develop and action working Account plans for the specified customers, in conjunction with your line manager
    *Maintain and enhance expert contract and Licensing knowledge to enable the provision of consultative services and knowledge transfer to existing & prospect customers
    *Introduce key unique value-add propositions (including the transactional website) to all accounts where applicable. Train customers on how to use this Technology.
    *Cross sell and up sell products and services to all accounts.
    *Take an active part in the planning and development of the Account sales strategies. Identify new Vendor opportunities
    *Attend & participate in monthly meetings with Sector Managers & their relevant team members to share information & enhance the sales process

    ESENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
    *A broad understanding of the company's goals, and the Sales strategy in particular
    *A good understanding of Sales processes in general, and a thorough understanding of the companies Sales process in particular
    *Broad knowledge of companies systems
    *A broad awareness of the relevant customer base, and in-depth knowledge of our key customer supply contracts within the target market
    *In depth knowledge of Licensing
    *Broad understanding of IT in general and networks, business critical systems etc
    *In depth knowledge of the companies products & services
    *Understanding of market sectors, current influences & trends, competitors etc
    *An in-depth understanding of current sales performance

    THE PACKAGE
    *Basic Salary up to £30,00, OTE uncapped commission up to £50,000
