Location: Rotherham
Salary: £23k - £27k Basic. Based on Exp + Abundant overtime at time and a half. (Non Compulsory)
Benefits: Shift allowance, bonuses every month and Sick pay, Salary will increase under a matrix scheme.
THE COMPANY
Has a world renowned reputation as a manufacturer of high quality special steel products. With state of the art and brand new machines the company has successfully secured long-term business and are now seeking skilled machinists.
THE ROLE
*Capabilities include editing programs, writing short programs, reading engineering drawings.
*To be able to improve run times with speed and feeds.
*To achieve a high quality when working to close tolerances.
* A good engineering back ground with good sound knowledge of manufacturing methods and tooling. To think on their feet and solve any minor problems on the machine.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*Experience of threading and working to API spec would be an advantage.
*The role requires experience with Fanuc and or Fagar controls.
*Working on parts up to 28 feet long and 12" diameter.
*To be familiar with working 4 jaw independent chucks.
*Proven apprenticeship and or ONC HNC qualification.
THE PACKAGE
£23k - £27k Basic. Based on Exp + Abundant overtime at time and a half. (Non Compulsory)
Salary will increase under a matrix scheme.
Shift allowance
Overtime available
Sick pay to ensure no loss of earnings
Bonus paid
