    THE COMPANY
    Established for over 20 years and working within the corporate and public sectors, this organisation is home to specialists within the IT industry and provides expert advice to a broad range of Clients.

    ROLE OVERVIEW
    The role is a field based Sales role, representing the organisation in customer and prospect accounts, carrying out face to face meetings and supporting all sectors within a specified region (North East and West of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland) reporting to the York office a minimum of 2 days per month.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    *Develop the Gold prospects accounts into regularly buying 'Gold house accounts' to create incremental business.
    *Identify & proactively maximise opportunities for sales growth within customer & prospect accounts
    *Build a short, medium and long term sales pipeline of opportunities equal to three times the monthly sales target
    *Deliver sales to achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for the new & existing customer base
    *Develop and maintain strong relationships with all existing & prospect customers, working with and through the sales teams to develop new and existing lines of business
    *Develop and action working Account plans for the specified customers, in conjunction with your line manager
    *Support internal sales team to achieve 100% of sales target
    *Identify and creatively resolve barriers to sales in individual opportunities
    *Maintain and enhance expert contract and Licensing knowledge to enable the provision of consultative services and knowledge transfer to existing & prospect customers
    *Attend a minimum of 7 customer meetings per week
    *Be able to deliver the organisations sales presentation as appropriate and to a standard in Customer/Prospect meetings.
    *Introduce key unique value-add propositions (including the transactional website) to all accounts where applicable. Train customers on how to use this Technology. Identify new Vendor opportunities
    *Ensure all actions from customer communications and meetings are communicated to the relevant personnel and take responsibility for the output of information, in a timely and efficient manner
    *Cross sell and up sell products and services to all accounts.
    *Take an active part in the planning and development of the Account sales strategies
    *Prepare for and participate in weekly one to one's with your line manager
    *Attend & participate in monthly meetings with Sector Managers & their relevant team members to share information & enhance the sales process
    *Attend Vendor Training and Personnel Training Courses, as required
    *Be a role model for internal sales for conduct, professionalism and presentation. Attend sector specific exhibitions when required

    ESENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
    *A broad understanding of the company's goals, and the Sales strategy in particular
    *A good understanding of Sales processes in general, and a thorough understanding of the companies Sales process in particular
    *Broad knowledge of companies systems
    *A broad awareness of the relevant customer base, and in-depth knowledge of our key customer supply contracts within the target market
    *In depth knowledge of Licensing
    *Broad understanding of IT in general and networks, business critical systems etc
    *In depth knowledge of the companies products & services
    *Understanding of market sectors, current influences & trends, competitors etc
    *An in-depth understanding of current sales performance

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS
    Analyse sales data accurately and quickly, including the ability to forecast sales accurately
    Manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities effectively to deliver against the Sales goals, including managing time and resources effectively
    Build strong relationships with Sector Managers and Internal Account Managers across all business verticals
    Demonstrate the ability to win new business, in both existing & prospect accounts
    Interpret strategic goals into tactical and operational sales action
    Interpret performance data into trends and tactical plans to manage sales performance
    See tasks through to completion and within agreed timescales
    Verbally communicate precisely, effectively and with authority to both individuals and groups
    Write clear, concise business English in all written correspondence, and create concise, accurate and engaging presentations
    Manage both their emotions, and the emotions of others

    THE PACKAGE
    Basic Salary up to £30,000, OTE uncapped commission up to £50,000
