Our client based in Dewsbury is seeking a Part Time Payroll Clerk to join their existing accounting team.
You will be responsible for the full payroll process and will be involved in the calculating and inputting of weekly payroll, yearend procedures and payment of Crown creditors.
Duties will include:
*Calculate and input hours worked each week
*Input into Sage Payroll and calculate net pay for all employees
*Input into Telebank for BACS payments
*P32 NI and PAYE monthly payment, ensuring any other attachments are included
*CIS payments and journals, and month-end returns
*Issue of contracts of employment
*Holiday and SSP statistics
*Analysis and payment of expenses
The ideal candidate will have previous payroll experience and have knowledge of all legal financial processes involved in payroll. A working knowledge of Sage Payroll is desirable but not essential.
