Marketing Manager
(Industrial & Construction)
£35,000 to £45,000
Our client based in Rotherham is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team.
The candidate must have experience in the following:
*Capital equipment marketing / product management
*Analysing market opportunities
*Creating promotion materials (brochures, web content advertising, etc)
*Over 10 years experience in the engineering industry with heating products
*Have had exposure to introducing a new concept into market engineering type products
The candidate with have an advantage if they have experience in any of the following:
*Process manufacturing (e.g. food industry, chemicals, water utilities etc)
*Process heating products
*Concrete industry
*Experience of introducing a new technology into traditional markets
*Business to business sales
The role will include:
*Drive the product marketing activity for Industrial and Construction businesses
*Focus the business activity to drive profitability and growth
*Analyse the market opportunities and competitive positioning
*Create all promotional materials (including web site content)
*Organise advertising, press releases and mailings
*Identify new product opportunities from customer contacts
*Analyse sales & marketing performance
*Lead sales activity in the Construction business
*Help to direct the efforts of the Industrial sales team
*Prepare and drive the business strategy
Candidate must have the following attributes:
*Reliable, Team player, Leader, Self- motivated, Organised
*Enthusiastic, energetic,
*Good communication skills (written and oral)
*Fully PC Literate, Numerate & able to use initiative
*Strong technical background or knowledge, contractual awareness
