POSITION: Shift Production Manager

LOCATION: Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Wakefield, Chesterfield, Leeds
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- £30,000- £35,000
-Production Bonus, Pension,
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in Production management within a Manufacturing environment.
-Experience of working with Lean manufacturing methods and or Kaizen systems
-Machining background, ideally CNC knowledge but not essential.
-Responsible for budget management and health and safety issues across the site
DESIRABLE
-HNC level or higher in an Engineering discipline.
-Previous experience of working with plastics
ROLE INFORMATION IN DETAIL:
-The successful candidate will be responsible for dirving an improvement culture through all areas of the production process using communication, effective leadership and giving responsibilty to the team.
-Work alongside the technical and engineering teams to ensure best practice is used through the company.
- Maximise the active time of all equipment by effective planning, flow and utilisation of all materials, resources, equipment and personnel.
-Support the quality improvement plan with effective use of all visual management tools to all areas of the department.
Working with the techncial and Quality teams to ensure the up keep of specification and quality standards
-Ensure company HR procedures are applied and embraced in the day to day operation.
