Our client is a well established training provider, based in Leeds and assisting learners within the West Yorkshire area.
Our client now requires a qualified and experienced NVQ Assessor for their hairdressing training department.
This is a permanent role, although my client will consider applications from both part time and full time candidates.
The role
This role encompasses the following responsibilities and duties:
• Recruitment of learners in relevant occupational area
• Delivery of comprehensive inductions
• Performance reviews of all learners
• Regular placement visits
• Liaison with placement providers
• Meeting retention and achievement targets
• Monitoring learner progress
• Management information reporting as required
• Supporting all Quality Assurance requirements
The successful candidate will
• Have an NVQ level 2 & 3 Hairdressing with proven industrial experience
• Hold D32 or A2 and hold D33, or working towards A1
• OR have proven occupational experience relevant to NVQ level 2 & 3 Hairdressing
• Have experience of assessing NVQs at levels 1 & 2
• Have evidence of continuing professional development
• Be willing to undertake further training
This role naturally requires an individual who is a self starter and able to prioritise and manage their own workload successfully.
The successful candidate will command a salary of between £16,000 and £19,000 per annum (full time salary).
